You Hunt. We Process.
As a full-service butcher shop, we also offer custom processing for our customers. You bring in your wild game and we can make sausage, jerky, steaks, roasts, and more. Please see the custom processing procedure below.
Step 1: Our Process
Reading about our process (this webpage), checking out our prices, and looking at the varieties we offer is the first step in getting our shop to do custom processing for you. Knowing our procedure before you hunt makes things smoother for our shop and you as our customer.
Step 2: You Hunt
We do not accept pre-booking for any custom processing. You must have your wild-game killed and in hand before we will book you in for processing.
Step 3: Skin, Clean, Book
All carcasses must be dropped off skinned and cleaned. Large animals must be quartered. Cleaned carcasses will always yield a better product. If your product arrives dirty, we may refuse it or apply a cleaning fee to the final invoice. We only accept bookings over the phone.
Step 4: Arrival
Once you arrive with your animal, our team will take it in through the back and it will either get hung in the walk-in (if it's quartered/halved), or stored in tubs in our cooler/freezer. You MUST have your license number or treaty number and seal number with you before it will be accepted at drop-off.
Step 5: Selection + Deposit
After drop-off, we will take you back around front to fill out the required paperwork with you and take your deposit. This is where you'll get to tell us what you want made. Please arrive with an idea of what you'd like beforehand to help speed up this process. Deposits are non-refundable but count towards the final amount owing on your invoice.
Step 6: Pickup & Payment
We will process all arrivals in the order that they are received. Once your order is complete, you will receive a notification & phone call from our team. Orders not picked up within 7 days of completion will be subject to additional daily storage fees. Orders not picked up after 30 days may be donated at our discretion.
